Front Air dam

Who makes or how can I make a larger air dam for the front? I want to cut down on the air under the car to lower wind resistance. All drag race and NACSAR racers do it and it is free horsepower and mileage. Plus it looks nice if done right. The stock one is about 1.5" and I am thinking about a 4 inch one. Anybody make one? Thanks, Curly

You could cut one out of plastic, but drag and NASCAR racers don't go over curbs.

You could probably use black plastic lawn edging. Attach it to the OEM lip with 3M double sided tape. It it doesn't work, easily removed.

Thanks

Thanks, The lawn edging worked perfect. I had to trim the round egde off and then I used small 10/32 bolts with washers on both sides.
I think it looks good and will try to get some pictures later. Curly

Pictures as requested

Here is a quick picture for you.

I got it a little crooked in the middle trying to hold it up with one hand and drill and put in the screws with the other. So far I am very pleased with it and have not dragged it on anything so I think it will work out quite nice. The bottom is still 3.5 inches from the ground.
Now if I was to redo it I would probably not cut off the round tube that was on it and have it towards the bottom. That would make it about 1 inch lower and more stable and better contour. Curly
