Gentex 511 Mirror available

I saw a 2009 HHR autodimming w/OnStar and Compass mirror, identical to the one I just installed on my '09 LT that had the base generic mirror. This is a simple Plug-N-Play setup. Just unplug the wiring harness from existing mirror and plug into the new mirror.

Simple modification and neat upgrade. If interested, see item 200330877063 on eBay and they want $40. Not bad price, same as I paid.

Oops. I don't have an LT, just a plain old LS

Thanks for the tip. Got it today and it took all of 5 minutes to install since they didn't provide the Torx screw and I needed the extra time to remove it from the old mirror.

Works fine except for the fact that it doesn't have the Homelink or Temperature readout they promised me in the ad!!!

Yea, I know. They said the same thing about the Temp readout about mine. On some Chevy's, (Tahoe - Suburban - Cadillacs) the pins will allow you to flip between temp and Compass, but not the HHR's. I just bought another one, but this one has the two map lights on the bottom edge. Why do I need Them? Don't, just want the latest toy. If it works, then I'll be selling both my standard mirror as well as the Gentex 511.
