When i did mine silver i used the little duplicolor auto spray paint in a can (found at local autostore). Primer Color and a Clearcoat. I also scuffed em up with some 1000 grit sand paper to sitck better with out scratch marks from paper. i'll get some pics up for you to see too.

Has anybody tried the Krylon Fusion plastic paint? Billed as "the world's first no-prep superbond paint for plastic". They claim "no sanding or priming, product dries in 15 minutes or less" and "bonds easily to plastic, PVC, hard vinyl, resin and more creating a durable, professional-looking finish that won't chip, peel or fade." Hype, I know, but has anybody used it?

I was wondering the same thing?

How about the Krylon Fusion plastic paint? Anyone try this on their bowties?

Anyone have any comments on durability in the exterior elements?

I used an adhesion promoter, then duplicolor, finished with a clear coat. Turned out great!

Yes, airbrushed the bowtie.

This is a quote from one of the threads I linked............

I used Krylon to paint a terra cota colored plastic flower pot dark green. It worked great. There's been no loss of paint or fading.
