Headlight Covers?

Dose anyone know if they make covers for the head lights. I was thinking of having the whole light covered and have a round cut out for the head light and the signal light. Like on the surf edition.

That is a horrible Photoshop. AlienHHR could lay that one to waste. There are no aftermarket light covers for the HHR to my knowledge.

I've had the same thought myself and haven't been able to find anything... was wondering if it couldn't be done with vinyl?? Similar to the eyelids I saw on another post here....

That was what I was going to try if I could not find anything.

Sure will. I think it would give it a more oldy look to it. Like the 40's and 50's had.

I agree and with mine being the gold HHR I didn't think the eyelids would really work for it... but if I had gold vinyl covering the whole thing it might work...

You could always go this route with either paint or vinyl:

Hope it helps,

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking about minus the nice paint job! lol That's really what I had in mind, I just don't know what it would look like in a solid gold to match the factory paint. Guess when I settle down and have a little time on my hands I can look into it... Thanks for the post SoCal!!!

Yea, like SoCal said, paint or vinyl. With the proper prep, of course. You may be able to paint some vinyl to test.

You may want to check about the legalities in your state, too, before trying this. And check with your dealer's parts dept. on the (usually high!) cost of replacement headlight assemblies if you run into "trouble".
