Actually, back in the CB-craze days(the late 70s for those younger ones here), I had a CB with a PA amp built in (which most CBs had). A few times I actually used the PA hooked up to a Radio Shack PA horn under the hood. It seemed like a cool thing (even though I only used it twice) to be able to make people think you were the police on the PA. Cool, that is, until a friend got stopped by a cop for "illegal equipment" and had to pay a hefty fine (well, when you're young any fine is hefty) along with a lecture from the cop. I never used the PA feature again.

UPDATE (6/7/06, 10:00pm EST):

In case nobody noticed on the general forum, I bought a new Black LT 5 speed. I was planning to install my strobe kit today, but the weather turned south, and I was only able to install the rear strobes.

I will say, I drilled into the tail lights and got the strobe tubes in there, but I dont think I could have gotten them in there any tighter. They work, and dont seem to cause heat-related issues as close to the tail light bulb as they are, and by close, I mean fractions of an inch between the 2 bulbs.

I will post pics later, but I am going to hopefully do the front corner lights tomorrow, weather permitting. Hope to see a bunch of people at Bristol on Saturday, if I can get everything installed, I will fire them up when we are doing laps around the track!

But my question is: what did they do just above the tire? After just having watched "The Omen", I'm kinda curious what this little halo foretells for that poor HHR...

 

Could be that stupid wheelwell cover. I seen it on their site.
