I thoght there is a harness out there to flash your main lights and high beams.
Police cruisers use them. That`s how they get the flashing lights.

I thought wig-wags are only allowed on police or fire vehicles? Maybe thats just here in NY? I'm pretty sure EMTs and Firemen use strobes around here in addition to their green or blue rotating lights.

Warranty Concern

I do not want wiz wags on mine due to the subject of voiding my warranty on the vehicle. I am going to go with strobes in the headlights and taillights along with a minibar on the top and maybe some leds in the windows. But I still would like some examples from any others that have done this.

Hey Pete...glad to see you made it over here. You might want to PM or email bisho1p. He's done this to his HHR and has very good luck with it.

to chevyhhr.net where you'll find just about anything HHR you might need.

Here we go again with the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. Wig-Wags DO NOT viod the vehicle's warranty. They CANNOT refuse to honor your warranty unless whatever you did CAUSED the problem; and they have to be able to PROVE, not just CLAIM that your install job caused the problem.

Wig wags work nicely, I have them on mine. I initally replaced the front corner lights with strobes, but took them out due to condensation problems.

I have 4 strobes in the rear, two in the tail lights, and two in the reverse lights. Drilling into the reverse lights CANNOT be done withough removing the entire assembly.

As for the light/siren control box, I use an SVP SC550 Light/Siren control box, and I will get some pics.

Siren speaker is mounted with an "L" bracket from HomeDepot, and mounted to the front of the under-hood fuse box.

My fiance has a set of strobes that replaced her back-up lights.

When she goes into reverse, it catches everyone's eye and you can miss her HHR backing up.

The only time they come on is when the car is in reverse. Kind of a secret mod that nobody knows about until she backs up - then instant light show.

She's had no problems with local authories of the law.

I installed strobs in the tail lamps and the back up lamps. for front warning I installed strobs in the fog lamps and placed led lights on the inside at the top of the windshield and wig wags on the head lamps. the car lights up really well. I have a carson siren with remote light and siren controls. and yes I drive with due regaurd for those of you that are worried. Not all firefighters drive like idots on the way to a call. we can't help if we don't get there.
