Deb,

after running with these for weeks, I dont think I'd ever want to go back to regular bulbs.

HID's are cool and yes they are bright. One of the reasons for this is because our reflector housing isn't made for HID headlights. Due to their construction and light output they will be bright and blinding in some cases when put in cars not made for the HID system. There are special reflectors in cars with these kinds of headlights like the Lexus IS cars and the Infinity G35's. They look good and will light up more than your regular Xenon headlamps that come stock, or even more than lights like my "faux HID" hyper-whites. I was thinking of trying out one of the HID conversions but decided against for these reasons, and because the cops here in Tucson know what cars come with this setup and are ticketing for headlights being "too bright." Nice looking setup HHRPNOY and good luck! Bet it makes a BIG diff at night now!

yup it makes a really big difference when driving at night. I was afraid about getting pulled over by cops here for having HIDs in the beginning. I've been driving with these lights for a while now and cops I've passed by dont seem to mind them at all.

i was thinking of getting some also.. but after seeing the first 2 pics i dunno...

seemed like they arent as bright as they seem, when shining on the car in the first 2 pics..

what # do you have? like the 5500 or whatever?

how many times brighter do you think they are then stock low lights and stock bright lights? and also do they have them for the fogs yet?

seems like theres no updates on this thread

I have the 8k's running on my car. They might not seem bright in the picture, but they are a hell of a lot brighter than stock bulbs, and also cover a wider angle.
