I got my flames today

I want to go out and put them on right now but I'm still working on my garage. I would do it over the weekend but I'm kind of busy this weekend.
I guess I'll have to try to wait patiently untill next weekend. I also have a pinstripe for the hood and back gate but they wouldn't photograph well so I didn't even bother.

I know they look silver in the photo but it is ghost vinyl. It is translucent vinyl with a metal flake look so it lightens your paint giving you a ghost flames look. I kind of got the idea from my bosses bike. He bought a Honda over the summer with vinyl ghost flames and it doesn't look that bad so I figured why not try it on my HHR. I would love to do it in paint of course but I'm a little tight on cash right now between a new daughter, a new HHR, and a semi-new house (I just bought it a year ago). Like I offered before I'll do a vinyl how to if anyone is interested otherwise I wont waste my time.

I would like to see the "how to" pics. I've never put on anything larger than a bumper sticker. I've seen it done once on construction equipment, but I don't think that counts.

TIA,
Long One

Done. The constuction equipment was probably done the same, you'll have to wait and see.

I'm trying. It's killing me knowing I have them and don't have the time to put them on now. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas.

I dunno. I assume you wil actually clean the surface before applying them. And not 1 inch mud splatters under the vinyl... Like I said. It was just on construction equipment. Not the cleanest environment.
