Installing Leather Seats?

Ok...so I've been thinking about installing leather seats if I find some for a good price. I see Schram seems to have seats for other cars for about $50 for front and about $50 for rear. I figure $100 isn't bad for leather seats. I was just wondering though, how hard is it to swap them out?

Another thing, you think it'd be hard to wire in the heated seats if the seats have the ability? Wouldn't I just need to get a new AC switch on the dash, and it probably wouldn't be hard to run the wire from the seats up there, right?

Anyone who has done this or has any tips, please chime in!

Everything but the heated part should be a direct swap since you already have a power drivers seat. The wiring for the heat might even already be there and you would only need the new switches in the waterfall.

Dang, that wouldn't be bad at all! Figure I'll keep watching on eBay to see if they list any leather HHR seats. Like I said, for $100 I'll take leather! I don't care so much about the feel of it, I just like how it doesn't stain!

I'd pop the waterfall off and see if the connectors are there. Might be like the fog lights on some of those that don't have them, the wiring is already there.

I paid about $100 for leather covers for my front seats.... if you find the whole seat set for that, or even just fronts, you are getting a steal.

Hey Eric, I had found a set on Ebay, but not sure if they are still on there or npot. They were black leather, both front seats and also the rear seat but the price was a lil steap. The store I found them under was LKQOnline, do a search and see what you can find.

Ok, I'll check. Black is nice, but I don't think it'd go good on mine since everything else is gray...

The new switch or plug can be a problem. I mean the cost of the new switch. I'm trying to find a connector for my seatbelt. I am amazed at their cost in the U.S.. Almost $ 40! I saw no less than the $ 23.
