Interior Mod...

Well I started on my interior today. The first piece I did was the center dash shroud around the radio. I know that most of the time, these pieces are painted to match the exterior color of the car, and I did.... kind of.

I used Victory Red, which is the color of my wagon. But... I flattened it. I decided to use the same color as the exterior, but I wanted it to match the flat interior of the car. I have to say it looks incredible...

I also added this today...

DEI Edition HHR...

and while I had it all apart, I painted the honeycomb screens in the ac ducts...

Did you remove it to paint or painted it in place? How did you do the honeycombs in the vents?

Looks really nice. I would like to see a clear picture to see what the flat looks like. May in fact be nicer than gloss based on what I can see above.

I have some red LED's I'm going to put behind and under the dash... I've got some great ideas for my wagon interior... much more to come...

Great call on the flat paint. Looks very "factory custom" (is that a word?).

SoCal Likes.

uploaded a better picture of the dash... still the pics do not look as good as the dash in person... the lighting makes it look much brighter than it actually is...
