Just got my Fall edition headlights the other day! Thanks Stryker!! I put in the chrome turn signal bulbs too. Next, I am going to put in the front bumper smoked corner lens. I want them for the rear bumper too, but I assume they have to be custom made?? Unless someone has a pair and want to be generous and sell them to me

 

Grats, you could always use VH Night shades for the lenses.

 

or i used window tint and wrapped them just like I would do with vinyl. Came out fantastic.

 

Or you could purchase the clear fronts and color match the front and rear lenses to the body color! Just like night shades but use an automotive paint that matches your HHR and Clear over them! Lights seem to shine right through the paint !

 

Yeah, I'm just not 100% sure what i am going to do yet. Probably black all the lens and lights out. Eventually I am going to get the bumpers and fenders painted black, so the bottom of the HHR will be black, and everything above it will be silver.

 

Now if only someone would make projector lens kits for the HHR, then I would buy those and do a HID conversion. My HHR SS is all black and the headlights need to be a bit meaner and darker IMO.

They do add attitude...Good for you man...I like them.. Even more so in my White Panel. LOL

Haha jealousss. They look great, and as soon as i get all the parts and time, i'll put it all in and post pics. I'm getting VHT niteshade spray to tint the lights and clearcoat them. I had good results with my last few cars with VHT, so hopefully it will stay that way

 

use the vht paint i have not had a chance to do the rear but here is what my tail lights look like and light does shine through these are only two coats i wouldnt recamend to do more than that.
