LED Lights Hyperflashing

I had the fast "hyper" flashing problem after installing led bulbs in my HHR tail/stoplights. But only when the headlights were fully on, such as at night. The LED bulbs just didn't work out for me, unless you like the "hyperflash". Modification will be necessary to make these work. No plug and go.

There are allegedly electronic LED flasher control units available that are supposed to fix this problem (www.superbrightleds.com). The only problem is, you need to know the OEM flasher's base mounting pin orientation to get the correct replacement unit. Since I haven't been able to determine where the OEM flasher is in the fuse box mess (the owner's manual is no help), and pull it out to look at it, I haven't been able to order a replacement electronic version. So, I'm just limping along with the original tail light bulbs.
