The only issue with load resistors is that the leads are small and solid. they have been known to fail/crack from vibration. when they do you loose the lights

these are only tapped into the circuit wires... you direction connection to the light is not inturupted. And the resisters I posted are twisted wire.

Speaking as someone who's job often involves electronics, a ballast resistor will work, but is a band-aid approach to the problem. A resistor creates heat in response to the current flowing through it, which may cause other problems. Why band aid a problem when there is a proper way to make the flashers work correctly?

And what is the "proper way"? We don't have old school standard flashers.
