Little light blue LED

Every time I get into my HHR at night I have this almost religious experience. I put my key in and a few seconds later a small halo of light appears above and to the right of me. Has anyone else have this happen? Better yet, has anyone changed this experience. Looking forward to some interior mod ideas.

I'm still thinking about what to do with that d#m thing.

I don't mined it in town, but I hate it on the highway.

Post pix if you mod the light.

If you give the cover a good yank it'll come off real easy.

You'll then see the light. it disconnects from the cover easily and you may be able to disconnect it.

I didn't look for a way so I can't say for sure but access to it is simple enough.

Until I back-light the window switches, I'll be keeping mine on.

(Hope GM does something about those switch locations!)

Call me strange but I really do not mind it. Most of the times I do not even notice it.

Check out this post. Scroll down to about the 5th post and you can see one idea

I'm thinking of taking out the light and paint the plastic black to match what I have painted so far.

No sun roof here. didn't want one. I've only opened the one on my Tib maybe 5,6 times in 2 years.
