Question Modification?

So I'm in the process of making a somewhat dramatic modification.
I love the 1/2 Panels, there was a VERY bright red SS turbo on display at the local Costco.
I'm in no position, financially, to trade my '06 for an '09 Turbo Panel so I'm going to "panel" my back two cargo windows.
I've done a whole lot of searching to try and find an exterior window film, to closely match the OEM color, to no avail.
I've ordered some of the things I need, waiting for delivery, I'll post my results when done and include details of how I did it.
Am I crazy, what do some of you think?
The way I am going to do this can be reversed without much effort ie not permanent if the results are not to my liking.

I'll be sure and do that. Oh, and I did figure out the picture thing.
Upgrading to "Premium Member" helps.......

Couldnt you just change out the rear panels?

The process used to install windows now days would actually prohibit just changing out the window for a panel, at least that is what I see being a problem.
The windows are "glued" into place, and I don't want this to be a permanent change, for down the road if I were to be in a position to use it for trade-in.

it seems like if you went to any sign shop they could thermal print any color you want on vinyl and then just cover your windows up. No need to find color matching vinyl then, just make it match.

That seems like a reasonable alternative, I didn't know of such a possibility.
I'm already in the process of acquiring the materials, based on my plan, but I'm doing this a step at a time. As I determine if what I'm doing will or will not work I do have the option of looking at alternatives. Thanks for the input.
