im wanting to do the 3 bar grille but....im just so scared!!!!!!!!!

 

I like that a lot, been thinking about doing it to mine. Has anyone done the 3-bar mod and put billet inserts in instead of mesh?

Love the look. this is about the ONLY grill combo I do like. A few questions. I understand how you removed the bars BUT could you give a few details on the mesh?? What kind,where did you get it and how is it held in place and any other info that might help out.

thanks for the compliments all. it really took some thinking and all to do the mod.

the mesh i got at Lowes. its the "gutter guard mesh". like $5 for 5 sheets of it.

there are clips on the inside of the grille. to put the mesh in yuo have cut holes in the mesh to go over the clips. those clips and the black plastic cover on the rear holds the mesh in place.
