When you wired them to the marker lights, did you splice and attach to those? or... ?

When wiring to the side marker lights, I used wire splicers. You can purchase them at some auto parts stores, and at hardware stores. They are little clip type things that you slip the LED light wires into one side, and it clips around the side marker light wires. When you clip is shut, it slices into the coating on the side marker light wire and makes the connection without having to cut the wires and tape/solder them together. Works great and saves the time and hassle of splicing the wires manually. Here's a link for one similar to the one I used...http://www.tessco.com/products/displ...39&eventPage=1

so, you 'wedged' them in place?
aren't you worried about vibrations over time sliding them back out?

Ditto... I'd like to see that too.

Of course these are more expensive than the ones that I purchased at Walmart, but they are basically the same thing. You can buy these at AutoZone as well for around $25. Installation is a breeze, but be careful not to bend the strip at sharp angles and DO NOT stretch them as they will disconnect some of the LED's.
Is it just me, or is that an HHR in the video? I like the look of them under the light better than what is on the StreetGlow site though.

It also looks like a chrome SS grill?

yeah, I just wedged them into place. As for them vibrating out...I had to actually wet them a little and pry the bumper down to get them to fit in. I did find one place that was not fitting as tight towards the end this morning, and exposed a little adhesive on the last inch or so of both side and stuck it there. But they fit tight enough there is no way that they will vibrate out.

I will try to get a daytime pic with the headlights out and post later today.

wiring procedure

Awesome effect...goes to show what cool results a little ingenuity can produce...sounds like the wire connection to the side marker lights has been made with "scotchlocks"...if this is accurate, problems will likely occur in the future due to moisture and other elements that get into the wire and the device itself as these type of connectors typically do not "seal out the elements...I suppose one could apply a waterproof sealant to the connection and hopefully prevent future corrision problems but I personally am a big believer in soldering each connection and then sealing up the connection with a product called "liquid tape" or something simular...just my 2 cents.
