New drop springs from a cobalt and new rims
Decided to go ahead and drop the hhr last week, went with a set of 06 cobalt ss springs, and I have to say, the ride is great. It dropped it at all four corners about an inch. I was hoping for alittle more drop but for the price of the springs I couldnt pass it up. Then after install, which took about an hour tops for all four springs, I decided to go with a new look... new 20's... A friend of mine works at a local rim shop and informed me a customer ordered these rims and never picked them up... same bolt pattern as the hhr so when they gave me a great price.. I couldnt pass them up. The rims size is 5-110, 38mm offset, and 8 1/2 wide. Tires are 225/35r20

Looks real sharp... I like that look.
Too bad here in the Midwest there is still 2.5 feet of snow on the ground and the salt would tear those rims up.
Come summer you may see SSuzy-Q sporting something like that.
