So whaddaya do with the wiring? Just cut it and leave it in there? Disconnect a fuse? Details!

ok i am back from teaching
I love the chrome one and i knew sooner or later i would find a need for it
here is what i did, took around 20 min. i did it at lunch between teaching at schools
1. i took out the lil grab handle pocket on the bottom or the panel first
2. then pulled the 2 lil plugs on the same end. they are push in plugs and kind of a pain
3. then pulled the larger panel off the back door by starting at the thinner ends. they pull easy. then lil by lil working my hands under to each push place and popped it out. one stayed in and that normally happens. just line it back in the slots and make sure it all the way on so it sticks.
4. i pulled the cover off the wiper and took off the nut and then wiggled the wiper off.
5. next i used the same socket (that was a nice touch) and removed the 3 nuts on the wiper motor.
6. one small white plug that i pressed and pulled apart and tucked back in the door and snugged it between a part of the wire harness back there so it wouldnt move
7. took my 1 inch chrome plug i got from OReillys auto parts that was in a bunch of plugs i bought a while back and popped it in. it was a lil loose so i took it out and spread the lil spokes out a little, then applied a small bead of Shoe Goo all around the lil spokes then gently popped it back in and now a sealed chrome 1 inch plug. below are a list of parts that you can use and where they can be found.
8. put the panel back on starting with the thin parts again, the the back and it all popped right in
9. popped the lil hand grab back in
10. put the 2 lil push pin plugs back in
1 inch plug
i got the chrome one in a pack of a bunch of plugs- 13 total. it was $1.99 (Auto Zone) for all of them. HELP! Plug button Assortment 02413
Most auto parts stores should have them. Even Auto zone had them.
you can also get plastic black 1 inch auto plugs from a true value hardware store and they are like .28 cents each
the plastic one is a 1 inch and is made by Niagara Part# S1413 but it is wider and is 1 3/8 in wide total. I paid .28 cents for it. at the hardware store. I use them for different things
Chevy also has one but it is not cheap. like $1.50 for one 1 in plastic plug and that is what is on the back of ur door where the plugs are for the spoiler.
hope this helps
