no need to drop dead. Thats the feedback I want. I bought it taking a chance, figuring that it was a stretch...I posted here to keep others from diving in. If I pull it off, I'll pull off both. It was a bit of pain to get on (good thing I didn't pay somebody), so that'll at least give it a week before it comes off. It may grow on me though...we'll see. Thanks for the feed back-

The chrome could fill in the gaps...maybe it is a cutout?!?! Its seem like the border of the OEM would be TOO thick

There is one reason for leaving the lower one on. It protects your radiator and a compressor from being damaged if something comes off the road and flies up to that area. Several people have hit things on the road and they have flown thru that opening and damaged parts in that area. One hit a piece of tire retread and it bent their radiator. The other one hit a groundhog and it flew thru that hole and punctured their radiator and rendered their vehicle inoperable. As soon as I heard about that, I bought the lower grille from Mike. Not that I plan on hitting anything, but one never knows how quickly things like that can happen...and in my opinion, it's better to be safe than sorry.

PS...my boyfriend thanks you for sparing my life.
