I totally agree. Unless, that is, you're referring to the "SS" from Germany's older days, which I don't think you are.....

I agree... it's all in fun... if someone wants to race you... or look under the hood, they will see soon enuff it's not a true SS.

And what if it stands for "Surf Sport"?

I recently saw a HEMI emblem on a Yugo at a local grocery store...

I got a good laugh out of it and a funny picture on my cell phone camera...

I remember a guy in high school had a 5.0L badge on his Omni...

That was always good for a laugh

WOW, you saw a Yugo that was still operational? A rare site indeed.

I agree 100%. Some people do that to bump the resale value. Trying to catch someone that doesn't know the difference in the running gear.

Dude don't you know anything. That stuff adds at least 100 hp!

I drove over the corner of one once pulling out of a parking spot in my K-5 Blazer. The person had squeezed in a tight spot on my passenger side and I didn't see the car when I was pulling out. Until I felt the bump in the road. Drove my rear wheel right over the corner of the fender.

I've said the same thing since people started putting SS badges on their HHRs but it especially holds true with a real HHR SS coming out. People who are putting SS badges on their HHRs are sure going to feel silly sitting next to and getting spanked by a real HHR SS.

What about a non-functioning hood scoop?

Sorry, had too Good Buddy Captain Howdy!!!
