Painted my bowties today

My rear bowtie was starting to look like the gold inside of it was peeling or something, so I decided to paint them.

This is what I ended up with:

How do you take them off? I would like to do the same thing. And BTW, my rear bowtie started doing the same thing, took it into the dealer and they replaced it. No questions. Seems as if, they get it often.
