Just wonder if any of our HHR family members installed (fake) fender/hood vent port holes?

Found several on eBay, but I wonder about the quality and also how it will look like on our HHR toy :twothumbs

 

Tons of people have them i think every HHR that is in my town has them except for me.

 

Auto zone and Walmart carry them for about $20.

Here's mine, I liked these because they not just round or oval like everyone elses. Pepboys about 20-25$

 

Got mine off ebay, but looks like Maggie has the same ones available at RAS.

I went with the rectangular ones which I thought flowed w/ the lines of the car a bit more than the ovals. Going on two years and no signs of them letting go w/ the preinstalled 3M tape.

 

I got mine from JC Whitney. The inside mesh is stainless steel. Not sure if the ones on ebay are all plastic or not.

 

HHR Boutique has a bunch of these too.

 

I followed the lower fender line-if I did it over again, I would have gone along the top hood crease.
