R&S door handle cups, any room for your hand?

I want to get some door handle cups, but am concerned that the upper portion of the cup compromises your ability to just put your hand in and open the door. The top lip hangs down in the pics and seems to intrude into the area your hand would go.
Just looking for feedback from anyone who has them.

I know several people who have them and have heard nothing adverse about them...and believe me, if there was something wrong or they compromised using the door, they'd say something.

Thanks Deb, that's what I thought. I'll order'em and find out for my self! That's what all this modding fun is about, innit?

Lessee, Time for some Summertime Bling, as it were!

Finally ordering the tail light rings, plus some marker light trim AND the door cups. Should add a bit of chrome spice to old Iron Man.

R&S has a kit with free shipping for the marker tirms:

As an old Chevy guy, it took me a while to get used to all this rollon plastic chrome, but I'm there now

We get the look without the plating chipping off and the rust. PLUS no holes to drill and fill. Works for me.

Now to NOT OVERDO it....that's the hard part, knowing when to stop.

Hi Mike,
I went to put the stock intake back on Iron Man today and found the airflow sensor bolts missing
SO it was off to the Chevy store to order a couple since they had none. I Was going to go back to stock for a day and see how it all felt. But now I'm waiting on GM.

I'll definitely sell you the setup with the muffler etc If I decide to sell it.
I took the CGS off today. put it back on again and still had a lot of rubbing issues. The stock CGS filter is even bigger the the outlaw! Maybe the band iron needs some tweaking?
Anyway, 'cause of a number of issues, I think the stock intake may be best for us.
I'll know again soon.

BTW, the more I see of your Bob, the more I am in awe of all you have done with him. Great job!

Thanks!

I know what you mean on the bolts. I can't number the bolts I had to keep over the years that got lost.

Will do with pictures too!
All on order.

Now to get the scars off the roof and hood left by my overzealous wife cleaning off snow with the window scraper I'm afraid of using compound so maybe clay? They are blackish plastic scrapes on top of the paint.
Suggestions anyone?
