Remote Key Fobs

I have a 2011 HHR LT. it did not come with the factory remotes. It came with a single remote as shown in the picture. The aftermarket remote works fine and includes remote start I would like to add 2 or 3 OEM remotes that I already have Questions: 1. Did the HHR remote fobs ever have remote start? 2. Has anyone ever installed or had installed the aftermarket system shown above? 3. Can the two systems work simultaneously? 4. Can I ditch the aftermarket fob and go strictly with the OEM?

Sorry. I didn’t realize there was a character limit

5. does anyone know where the aftermarket unit is installed?
6. Was the OEM unit disabled for the aftermarket?

I tried to contact the aftermarket manufacturer and they refuse to answer any question unless I have the original receipt.

Remote Key Fobs part 2

Will that allow the aftermarket remote to keep working? I don’t see the front hood latch safety wire so I’m wondering if the HHR came with remote start?

It might have an aftermarket RS and the factory fobs would not work

2011 remote start was optional.
The FCC id is not compatible with the factory installed RCDLR. So, there is a totally separate radio receiver. A GM fob would need to be programmed and only for door locks.
