removed dash

just posted pics of what the hhr looks like with no dash in members gallery was a ***** pass airbag sucks there are 2 10mm nuts under the air bag that have to be taken off with an open end ratchet and it pops right out just make sure you pull fuse and disconnect wire in pass kick panel yellow clip...more pic when dash is finished thanks...

trying to decide if i should keep the pass air bag or put a monitor there or maybe something else and im having the dash smoothed and painted extierior color which is sport metalic red should be hot

good luck on the project! It would look weird if you keep the passenger side airbag the original color. It will clash with your red dashboard. Couldnt you get the airbag cover painted as well? If you want to add a monitor on the front passenger side you can always go with a sun visor monitor. You can always have the shop make you a monitor mold to replace the center dash compartment . Either way post pics when you're done! Cant wait to see the finished product.

i did take the cover off the air bag and will also be painted
