I need to take just the top part off (or at least open up the drivers side a bit). I want to mount my vacuum gauge on the right side by the tweeter, and would like to run the wires between the back of the top dash cover and the windshield. The side comes off easy, and would make snaking the wires through easy enough. Plus, there are plenty of screws to use as a ground for the light.

Does it just pry up?
