Any negative effects on the coolant temp with that in place?

It's just vinyl wrapped around the vertical supports.

It was KYDave that did it Mike in September 2006. I thought about doing that as well...but then went with the 3 Bar grille, so no need for it. Great little mod that cleans up the grille area.

VERY NICE MOD! Where can you pick up some black vinyl? Maybe Pep Boys or somewhere like that? LOOKS HOT!
Also, I noticed that your stripes are like the ones I saw on a custom HHR at the Chicago Auto Show this year. NICE!

That's where I got the idea. I saw a photo of that one online.

You can get the vinyl from a sign shop. Make sure you ask for matte black.
