Modified shaved Bowtie, *POOF* gone.

Man that looks great. Been thinking of doing something along those lines myself. Except I would keep the surrounding chrome at the top, and the sides, and paint the rest black.

now that black piece in front needs to be something other than black

i still like my chrome and blue bowtie on mine
i bought a chrome SSR Chrevrolet bar for the top bar but no ran into a problem putting in the bar cause of wifes allergy doctor bill.

$1444 my part w insurance already paid and deductible in there, OUCH

Now that it's on and looks good to me from afar, there are flaws I want to correct when one looks at it up close. On the second rung from the bottom, the gap is a bit too much. It looks sloppy to me. When I talk to the fella that did the work, we'll discuss filling that area in better.

I would not object to making a casting of it when it's 'finalized'. I do NOT know how to do that type of work though.

Can making a casting/mold of it be done without doing damage to the paint?
