Does anyone know if it is possible, or how difficult it would be to replace just the shifter knob? I have the cheap looking black plastic one on mine, and would be interested in changing it to the one with the chrome insert. I don't want to replace the whole thing, just the end of the knob. I have an '06 so it would be the older style..


Any ideas?

i like the "cheap" one cause it looks good longer.....i have the leather and chrome one and u can see all the scratches and the leather is startin to wear.....ive noticed the more cheap it looks the longer it lasts.....atleast with GM

Now all you need is the chrome shifter.

Hey Eric, the shifter knob is easy to remove. You have to pry the sleeve that is below it down wards, then remove the set screw on the backsike of the shifter knob.
