Agree with this. Bottom drawing IMO looks way too much like the feathers tucked back on a bird. These could work though if a little more subtle. You asked.

I personally don't like any of them that much. I like a cleaner look and maybe a stripe between the two colors.

But if I had to decide I would go with #1
