Splash Guards
#2
Not as yet. The fronts are the problem, but the rears will work regardless. With careful trimming, flat or molded style can be adapted to work. I'm in the process of doing a set now. There is a how to thread around here somewhere.....

I ruined a set of molded splash guards,
at least the right front one anyways. I tried to use an exacto knife instead of my dremel to do the trimming. I wound up using the GM flat ones without the Chevy logo on them. I have pictures posted in my gallery. I had to cut and notch the rear ones to fit. I used the molded ones for templates for drilling the holes in them. They don't look too bad. I would have preferred the molded ones though.
With hard times at GM, I doubt that we will see any molded splash guards for the SS.

I just put a pair on the back of The Time Machine this afternoon. I picked them up at C.A.P. and they are just standard ones with the Chevrolet logo on them. They went on fairly simple and look fine. I think I installed them too low. When I pull into the driveway they scrape . They are not custom or anything and they look fine and do the job.
The hardest part was getting at the screw near the centerline of the tire.
