Spoiler Install
Hello:
I was wondering---I am getting a pre-painted factory spoiler and I am going to attempt to install it myself (I put one on a 99 monte carlo with no problem---but then--that had a trunk).
I have the general instructions--but---when it comes to the top of the liftgate where it will be installed---usually one must drill holes at the outside intended location---then attach from the inside into the spoiler legs via a larger drilled inside hole.
When one opens the liftgate---the upper portion has what seems to be two rubber plugs on the corners---what do these open to and is it possible to use the openings as the inside holes to attach the spoiler w/o having to drill two more holes?
anyone done this? thx for any advice.
thx
PS: great forum---lots of info and excellant advice
Peace to you all!!
