SS front bumper kit
#21
IDK..GM has put out some 6 cyl SS cars but they didnt catch on because back then there was no 'replacement for displacement'.....True meaning of SS is performance..so ..handling and power equate that,,therefore according to old chinese monks, the HHR SS qualifies..it has both..while all the non ss cars have one or the other but not both. For that matter, the new Caddy qualifies,,now wouldnt that be sumtpin!! And also,,your saying the 70's anemic camaros and such were true SS's? They had the badges..but not the cahonies..but they were v8's...hmmm...its the spirit that counts..the car doesnt actually have to be black to be a black knight.

In the late '60's I owned a '66 Chevy II SS with a 2 bbl'd 283, 3 on the tree and bucket seats with no console. Chevy has been making SS's of all shapes and sizes (and power levels).Wish I still had it (famous last words), plus my '68 RS Camaro, '58 MGA and my '51 GMC 5 window PU.
