ss seats in an ls/lt

I doubt there is a How To on this.
The seats should be a direct swap out. The fronts just have 2 bolts each on the rear part of seat bar. The front of the seats hook in place on the floorpan. Since the SS drivers seat is powered, that may be an issue if your car doesn't currently have a power seat.
Rears should be just a direct bolt in.
You should be able to swap them out in under a hour.

Look at the passenger seat area of this pic. It shows where the front hooks of the seat go and the seat bar where the back part of the seat bolts to.
Also(hard to make out) is the wiring harness for the seat occupied sensor.

thanks for the post, ill take a look at it tomorrow..is that picture from your car?
i will be doing just the fronts and i do not have power seats at the moment, but the motor will come with the seats so hopefully its not too hard to wire up

Yep. That's my SS when I was fabbing up the drivers side lowered seat bar.
Had to take out the seats and console so I could remove the bar to cut it.
The bar runs from one side of the car to the other side.
