i believe that circle is for the onstar speaker, do u have onstar? i dont ,. no need for it and to expensive. have my cell phone with me that is as good as the on star. i really believe the onstar is a waste of money, i think you have to be in your car a lot to make it worth while.

little white light
the only logical thing i can think of for the white light by the sun roof is that it lights up the space where the e brake and stuff are...just a little so you dont have to turn on your interior lights to see stuff when you dont have to...dunno if it helps and i hope i explained it clearly

This is my First car with a Sun roof I must say. I do like the Sunroof. The postion of the button's is a great location. The netting the comes up after the sunroof is in its set postion is a good add. Where the button's are there is a outline of a huge circle. What do you think that could be used for? I'm not too happy with the little white light. I have the Mirror with the compass and I'm more use to reaching up more towards the sunroof button for interior lights then the ones in the actually mirror that came with it.
The little white light allows you to see the window switches and can be easily changed.

Of course, you may never need On Star, and I hope you don't, but when you do, you won't think it's " too expensive". That's cave man thinking ( or you've never been in an accident ).
On Star gives you directions when you are lost, phones the nearest hotel when you are tired, gives you your location when you ask and most important, On Star will give you a read out of your engine specs and email you each month with your oil change info, engine info, and if anything is wrong, will tell you.
At any time, you can call On Star and they will run a diagnostic check for you on the spot. When that "service engine" light comes on, who you gonna call with your cell phone?
On Star is too expensive?? Please.
