T-Rex Lower Billet Grille .. Anybody bought and installed one ???

I am looking at purchasing a couple lower billet grilles, but from all the past posts I've read it has left me with doubt about buying the Cheap Nock Offs on E Bay Etc.

In looking at the info on the T-Rex brand, it sounds like it's made in the USA and precision built.

Lots more money but possibly lots less hassle and better quality thru out.

Has anybody bought this T-Rex Brand and installed it yourself to see how it compares etc.

I have the $40 lower billet that sits inside the opening. 2.5 years on the car, painted black, white and now black again - looks great. I dont see justifying the double in price - I've seen 2 ways to mount it - mine has a piece of 1/4 wide flat bar with a threaded hole just off center. You thread a long screw thru the grille into these bars. Bars rotate to grab the inside of the bumper cover and you just snug it up. Bueno fo sho.

I bought this one from a member here, I forget what Brand it is. Precision Brand maybe?

Fit Fine and was an Easy install.

My Upper Billet Grille is a Precision Brand.

I cut my OEM Chrome grille and did some sanding grinding and cutting on the upper billet to fit it inside the frame I created with the oem grille.

I checked out Precission and they too offer a Quality Product but they no longer make a lower billet in flat black, so I just took the plunge and ordered a T-Rex lower billet in Powder Coat Flat Black.
It's a Custom Order so it takes approx 2 weeks to custom make it.
This is my new 2011 HHR, not the wifes, so it's my Baby.

Nothing but the best for me Baby !!!
