Tinted my side markers, reflectors, and bowtie experiment.

Since I have some black led tail-lights on the way, I decided to do my side markers and reflectors. Used some tinted vinyl I bought on-line. Decided to try the bowtie, looks almost gunmetal...not sure if I like.

Side view.

Rear marker.

Front marker.

Rear bumper reflectors.

Corner view.

Bowtie.

I ran out today and picked up some solid black vinyl. The weather sucks here today, so I'll probably do the solid black in a few days.

yeah, i would like to know where you got it as well.

I would love to apply some of that to my reflectors, make them blend in wit the black a bit.

I have solid black on the bowtie and it works great, A bit of a complex shape, but not too hard.

I got the tint at http://www.decalfx.com. There's a link for "Smoked Headlight Tint" on the left. It's vinyl, so it was easier to do IMO than window tint. The light still shines through great...have to get a pic at night. I used your PM as reference twistrman, when I did the bow-tie. Thanks again.

Looking again, it may have been the "Smoked Taillight Film," though I think it's the same stuff.

Marker lights look great, but I think the only true way to make the bowtie look good is to paint it. Just no other way around the 3D-ness of it......
