Trimming or Rolling the Fenders???

Going to get my 20's in a couple of weeks. I need to either trim or roll the rear fenders. I'll be doing this myself. I'm handy with tools.

Anyone have any experience with either one? Care to share?

Are you doing it yourself or paying someone else to do it?

Well I had someone else do it for me. The experience either way can be very good or a nightmare. I'm assuming that you either already have the tool or going baseball bat to your fenders...Regardless do your google homework first Rick aka hnewgn has 20's on his ride and rolled his fenders, you may want to pm him for more info...

If I'm going to roll, I'll be using the professional fender rolling tool. Same with trimming. I'll be using a hand held jig saw then a grinder to clean it up.

When you do this, it would be great if you can do a how-to with pics. Rolling the fenders is almost a must when lowering with 18's and most def with 20's. This is a long overdo how-to for this topic...

I would use a pneumatic cutting wheel, always have on other cars. Use tape as a guide.

this is not needed for 20's with no drop. there is a custom shop across the street from me that outs lambo doors and 20's on the HHR for a dealership and they have no rubbing issues. i need to get pics of it, but i hate the lambo doors on it and it is SOM just like mine.

There is no question that I will need the rear fenders trimmed or rolled. I'm lowered on eibach sportlines.
