About the air bags....
I have side air bags. It looks like to fully pull the headliner down, I need to slightly pull the door pillar panels out. I was afraid of getting "bagged" in the process. I guess I could pull the AB fuse but what if I set off a sensor that sends the signal once I plug the fuse back in?

Disconnect the battery if your worried about it. I pull bag modules all the time, usually with the car running, not the brightest idea, but I haven't had a problem yet.
