I have been talking to mike @ socal about running boards but he said they are still working on it.

Try Steve at Billet Badges LINK he helped design and made the custom running board tops for mine. The are sweet! Not cheap, but very well done. I'd bet he can do something in diamond plate for you.

Make a pattern and find a truck supply shop,or a metal shop. Aplace that uses this stuff may have scraps large enough to make running boards. Anything thats compound curved will have to be vinyl.
