Vinyl Sources

Hey All,

I have read that some of you have done tail lights, grilles and/or headlight covering with vinyl.

I want to try something. I want to cover 2 of the grille bars and the "brows" of the headlights in white vinyl.

Where does one find said vinyl? Is it adhesive backed?

Thanks in advance,

Don

I think I can help you with that Don. How much vinyl do you need?

Hi Tim,

I wanted to try and cover the grille to make a chrome, white, chrome, white look. After I looked closely, I dont think I can tackle this one. I think it would look killer though.

Also, I wanted to cover the upper part of our headlights at the "lined brow" part with white. That I think I can do. Any ideas from the Vinyl Massa?

Let us know how it works. I only found the one site the other day and the 2nd one after making the post and didn't compare prices. Was thinking of covering the rear side windows but not sure if the gray will be close to the Dark Gray Met of the 08's

I got my vinyl pieces as scrap from a local graphic shop. You can ask your local shop, the worst they can do is say no!

I have tried to make eyebrows twice now and the perfectionist in me keeps removing them. I will give you some vinyl to try it with. The grille would be a bear to put vinyl on, paint would be easier but not removable.
