warning on visor install

just a heads up about about the "no drill" visor for the HHR..to install you must first remove the window trim around the sides of windshield..they say to cut 8.5 inches...i say 8 inches is enough but here is the warning part..apon removing the plastic trim..the adhesive(acrilic must be)they use at the assembly plant seems to bond to the sides of glass better than it should...yup..split the bugger so easy..only touched the trim with very little effort..took it to my glass guy and he told me about this adhesive..etches itself into glass...he broke 1 more in the process in mounting the visor(dont try to adjust after its on..it WILL BREAK..the round corners on these windows are very brittle so be carefull...they say use your fingers to remove trim.DONT PULL ON IT PERIOD!!.i say a very sharp blade. this reducing stress on window..and alot of effort..other than that visor looks great and no real noise to speak of..
