What's New- Blue Blue Blue- CJs 2-tone

Got them in today and got front on today and then back tomorrow.
ill add more on how i did it in a short.
the blue bowtie really does it for me. really sets it off. I love this mod.

well first i am doing this for the first time and I know i did the front first, NUTS huh. screw this up and reall messed it up. No GUTS no glory i always say.

so reading earlier on here there is 2 ways to take off the bowtie: 1 yellow part only or behind the whole thing against the grille so looking at the emblem i got in i figured i could go around the chrom bowtie there.
well after taking it off and cleaning off all the 3M tape they had on, i realized you can just take off the yellow. drill 2 holes for the posts that are on the new blue bowtie and then 3m the back of the new bowtie. shove it through the holes and it comes w 2 lil screw on post nuts and then open hood and put them on. Done and it looks great.

i had to 3M the base back on and then 3M the new over the base. nice fit and next one will be easier now i know.

It looks a little larger than factory one? The blue goes well with your ride.

it is 2 3/4 in tall and 8 inches wide. the original is 2 5/8 tall and 7 1/4 in wide.

i like it alot though and the color in the middle is removable and they most like have other colors. it has a metal back on it but Chevy may have other part numbers for different colors. i have seen red. it has 6 lil metal tabs on the back like a picture frame holding it on.

it is chrome sides, black painted channer, then chrome upper w color in the very middle
