Question Wheel Vintiques

soooooooooo

does anyone have an opinion on the quality of these rims and/or the overall affects on the HHR? Like, drivability issues, brake complications, etc?

Ratty,

One of our socal crew has them on his and they look killer. I think a taller tire should be used on a 16" to fill up the well but I havent heard anything bad about them at all.

Don't you mean "on HER car", --- Yes, I have the wheels and love them a lot. And Leon, on this forum also has them on his two-toner, but a different style. He had a problem with timeliness of getting them, but I didn't...I think these places go up and down with the shifts of management or something. They won't do paint matching, so I had to have it done - I think Leon did his own.

The only slight problem is that the hubs were put on before the paint was fully cured and now I'm getting a bit of rust behind them that we have to watch carefully. But that's a "paint" problem.

Cool! Thanks for letting me know.
On my PT I have Baby Moons and no problems, and I think that Wheel Vintiques made them.

I wanted to get the smoothies with those holes for the HHR to give it a meaner look and then get those 49 hubs and paint the bowtie.

I am nervous about swapping out the rim and voiding the warranty or ruining some drivability issue.

I added all my crud on my PT outside my warranty.

aftermarket rims or tires won't void anything. And the ride on the large side-walled white wall's we have on mitzkity is smoother than stock

I totally agree. Not to mention they fill up the wheel wells oh so nicely. Mitz's ride looks awesome and has a great stance.

Be careful with them. Although the quality is good, they are very exspensive and they have a no return policy on custom built stuff.
