Question Will the 2007 Cobalt Steering Wheel Fit the HHR?

I have a 2008 HHR that I purchased used and the previous owner had put on handicap hand controls and in doing so damaged the steering wheel more than I am willing to leave alone. Tried a to put on a leather wrap cover but that didn't do the trick. So am looking for a steering wheel.

My question: is the 2007 Cobalt Steering Wheel the same as the one in the HHR? Looks the same to me; the seller does not have a GM part number for me to cross reference. The pic below looks right, but want some confirmation before I commit the cash.

Thanks in advance for the assist!!

Why not have the dealer replace it.... IMO a used car shouldn't have hit the lot like that.

+1. Your best bet would be to compare part numbers or ask the dealer to be certain.

Scuse me, don't really want to jack the thread but......has anyone or could you even put on a billet steering wheel? I know you would lose the airbag, and steering wheel controls but, that would open up the options and probably look sweet.

Deal is done. It was my choice to leave the wheel as is. Got such a good price for various reasons I chose to leave the wheel as is and deal with it myself.
