4 channel amp good for now?
I'm still thinking about what I want to do as far as an audio upgrade. I want to do this in stages so my wife doesn't freak if I were to drop $1500+ on a new system.
I was thinking a good first step would involve adding a 4-channel amp. Two channels would power the front two speakers (upgraded) and bridging the other two to power a new sub. Later I could upgrade the back speakers and run all 4 channels to the door speakers. I'd also add a separate mono amp for the sub. Eventually I would also upgrade the HU. I want nav, bluetooth, usb, so that will be a big one for down the road.
Anybody see any problems with this? I'm not sure if I could keep the back speakers or not until I get in there and see how the wiring works.

Sound is best coming from the front... you don't go to a concert and look away from the stage do you? haha.
4 Channel amp is all you need... don't waste money on subs. Crisp clear sound is where it's at.
You don't need to run new speaker wires unless you have some major speaker upgrade... the gauge that's in it is fine.
Your human ear cannot hear the difference.
