On band I find FM/AM but no XM but do have CAT that has XM on it.
It doesnt look like I have that back FIN.. So is this radio able to XM? If so how? Any ideas would be great!

It sounds to me like an ex-rental? If you do not have the rear fin, you have no on-star, no xm. etc.

im sure you can buy an aftermarket XM set-up and make it happen.

Yeah you probably have a unit that is "XM Ready" so you'll need to add a few things to have fully functional XM radio on board, check out these threads for the basic requirements....

Yes that is what the CarFax said good call!!
So nothing i can do? Is it a different Radio? something I could install in the radio?

Well you can install the factory hardware as outlined in the threads above, since you'll need to add the XM receiver unit, wiring harness, and antenna...or you can go with something on the aftermarket like a stand alone XM unit that you can feed into the stock head unit using the AUX input.
