Adding bluetooth to 2011 HHR LS
Howdy guys. I've searched and read a lot of posts about adding the factory bluetooth but most were related to older models.
I have a 2011 LS and would like to add bluetooth if possible but I'm not sure what is needed.
I have the standard non-leather wrapped steering wheel that has cruise control buttons only. I do have Onstar.
Is my Onstar module already equipped and it's a matter of getting the radio buttons installed or do I have to buy a whole new leather steering wheel to get it to work.
I guess I'm not sure if the car is ready to use bluetooth with just adding the buttons or is more involved.
Thank you!

push the phone button on your mirror for two seconds until it says ready then say bluetooth if it does not recognize the command you need the module.
Honestly though I do not think you have bluetooth if you do not have steering wheel controls. Add the controls and the module it is a simple upgrade and worth every cent. Now finding a module for a 2011 will be interesting since it is so new I got mine at a junk yard and much cheaper than the gm parts sites.
