Adding XM 2011 - help me Mr. Wizard
Just got my R last saturday.
No XM but radio is XM ready? It has the CAT button. I pulled the radio a couple of minutes ago (sitting here on my desk as I write this). There are no additional plugs on back. Just the 2 connectors (one is 12 pin, other is 16 pin) with antenna attachment.
I assume that XM box will have its own antenna attachment? But does one of the connectors currently attached to my radio go to the XM box, and then another goes from the XM box back to the connector that I just moved??
My radio is p/n GM 2091 9522
SO - does someone have installation instructions for the XM kit GM17800594??
How does it hook up to this radio? What am I missing?
My RPO codes for this are U2J, UE0, UQ3, US8
While I anxiously wait a response, I'll put the radio back in.
Regards,

Possibly a member here who has installed the kit saved their instructions and you can get a copy.
